Supply & fitting
Take the door on its own, or let us fit it.
Same door, same door price. What changes is who is responsible on the morning the opening turns out not to be square.

Supply only
Door, frame, glass and ironmongery, delivered to the house. This is the route if you have a joiner booked, or you fit doors yourself and would rather not pay somebody to do it.
- Door and frame made to the measurements you give us
- Ironmongery supplied with it, not fitted
- Delivered to the property rather than left at the kerb
- You measure, and the risk of a wrong number is yours
Included in the door price
Free delivery on orders over £750.

Fitted by us
We measure the opening, make the door to what we measured, fit it, and take the old one away. One visit to survey, one day to fit.
- The opening surveyed before anything is ordered
- Frame packed and scribed until it sits true in the opening
- Locks tested on every point before we leave
- Old door, frame and packaging taken away
Quoted with the survey
A front door opening varies more than an internal one, so the price comes with the survey rather than before it. The survey fee comes off the order.
Fitted, start to finish
What actually happens, in order.
One opening, one day on site, and about a fortnight before that while the door is made. Here is the whole of it.
- Before anything is ordered
The survey
An hour at the house. The opening measured brick to brick and checked for square, the threshold and floor levels taken, and a look at what is behind the frame. You get the numbers in writing whether you go ahead or not.
- About ten working days
The door is made
Made to the measurement we took, in the colour, glass and ironmongery you specified. Nothing is ordered until the survey is done, so nothing is made to a number somebody guessed.
- Fitting day, morning
The old door comes out
Old door and frame out, the opening cleaned back and checked again against the survey. This is the point where a surprise shows up, and it is a lot cheaper to find it now than after the new frame is in.
- Fitting day, afternoon
The new one goes in
Frame fixed and packed square, door hung and adjusted, locks and ironmongery fitted, then sealed inside and out. We test the lock on every point before we leave and show you how the hinges adjust.
- Before we go
The old one is taken away
The old door, the frame and the packaging go with us. You are not left with a door leaning against the garage until the tip run.
Before you ask
The four we get asked most.
Start with the door.
Pick one, see it on your own house, and decide about fitting afterwards. Nothing about looking commits you to either route.
