What we set
Nothing at all, unless you sign in. An account sets a cookie that keeps you signed in, because staying signed in is the one thing a browser cannot do without one. It lasts until you sign out. There is nothing else: no basket cookie, no remembered preference, no identifier following you between visits.
What we do not set
No advertising cookies, no cross-site tracking, no third-party pixels. This is why the site has never shown you a consent banner: there is nothing to consent to.
We measure how many people visit which pages using aggregate server logs that do not identify anybody and are not tied to a cookie.
These were written by us rather than by a solicitor. Nothing in them reduces your rights under the Consumer Rights Act 2015, and if any of it is unclear, ask before you order rather than after.
